Qi (Jacky) Zhai is currently a student-at-law with a track record of excellence across a wide spectrum of areas. With a diverse international academic background, Jacky graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature from Southeast University in China in 2001, followed by a Master of Laws in European Business Law (2002) and a Master of Laws (DEA) in European Community Law (2004) from Aix-Marseille University in France. During his tenure in France, he was honored with the Grand Eiffel scholarship by The Department of Foreign Affairs of France from 2002 to 2008, for his outstanding academic achievements.
Jacky has been actively involved in various academic research programs on Security Law and Taxation Law in France and has experience with immigration law, family law, and business law in Canada and Australia. In October 2019, he attained his Juris Doctor degree from Bond University in Australia, following which he commenced his articling term in September 2021. Currently, Jacky has been working with clients and matters in immigration, family law, civil litigation, and business law.
Notably, Jacky is fluent in Mandarin, English, and French, and has an extensive understanding of the legal markets of China, France, Australia, and Canada. His well-established business and legal connections in these jurisdictions are a testament to his expertise and his ability to navigate complex legal matters across borders.
