Founder and Managing Partner of Paramount Law Group, a full service, community-based law firm, Donna is experienced in Family Law, Elder Law, Wills & Estates, Guardianships & Trusteeships, and Estate Litigation. She enjoys devoting her time towards various non-profit organizations, focusing on senior care and community services. Some of these organizations include the Kerby Centre, the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society (AAMS), the Seniors Resource Council of Alberta (SRCA), and the National and Southern Alberta CBA Elder Law Sections.
Donna Gee was a registered nurse from 1993 to 2020, and a lawyer since 2005. Throughout her career in law, Donna has focused primarily on the areas of Elder Law, Grandparents Advocacy, Wills and Estates Planning, Surrogate Court Matters, and Estate Administrations. She has appeared successfully in all levels of court in Alberta, most recently being a successful result with an international child abduction case in 2021 at the Alberta Court of Appeal.
Donna is committed to community service and pro bono activities, particularly for seniors. She has held leadership roles in several community associations, including former president of the Arbour Lake Community Association, former president of the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society, and acted as former president of the National CBA Elder Law Section where she advocated for seniors on a national level. She has served at the Kerby Centre both as past treasurer and as part of the Kerby Legal Clinic. Donna currently serves as Chair for the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Southern Alberta Elder Law Section, Honorary Chair for the CBA National Elder Law Section, and President of the Seniors Resource Council of Alberta
Donna is highly dedicated to both her team and her clients, offering compassionate and respectful service to all. She has successfully founded and managed two law firms before founding Paramount Law Group. Her tenacity and ability to think inside and outside the box, paired with her caring and compassionate advocacy, helps serve Donna’s clients in pursuit of the best possible outcome.
